The Santos player had been playing for Real Madrid , but the Barça have been faster and have put more money on the table to take the promising attacker.

Piqué , who is one of the most closely followed by the transfer market, knows that Barça has come back ahead. 

From the Catalan set are very optimistic with the operation, and in fact expect to make it official this week.
