Chelsea transfer news LIVE: Hazard ultimatum, Real Madrid raid, Sarri deal days away
CHELSEA transfer news is hotting up - and Express Sport brings you all the latest rumours and gossip coming out of Stamford Bridge.
Lewandowski boost
Robert Lewandowski could join Manchester United or Chelsea because of super agent Pini Zahavi, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol claims.
"I think it could change this year simply because he was enlisted the services of super agent Pini Zahavi, who is the original super agent," Solhekol told the Transfer Talk podcast.
"He is trying to broker a move for him. He wants to leave Bayern Munich and he'd like to go to Spain, England or PSG.
"When you are talking about England and clubs who could afford him, you're talking about Chelsea, Manchester United.
"Pini Zahavi is the crucial factor. We have heard his name mentioned lots of times over the last few windows.
"I think this time, because Pini is involved, it's more serious."
Florenzi enquiry
Chelsea have made contact with Roma over a potential deal for versatile star Alessandro Florenzi, according to reports.
The Blues are keen to start their transfer business and could make Florenzi their first signing.
La Gazzette dello Sport reports that Chelsea have made contact with Roma with the midfielder, who can also play full-back, potentially set to leave the club.
The 27-year-old is on a deal until next summer though talks of a contract extension have broke down.
Chelsea transfer news: Eden Hazard has told the Blues to resolve the club's uncertainty
Hazard and Courtois to go?
Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois are right not to commit their futures to Chelsea, former Blues midfielder Craig Burley claims.
“This is a comedy at the moment isn’t it,” Burley said on ESPN FC.
“It’s just a mess and it’s a real worry for Chelsea fans.
“Why the hell would Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard and players like that commit anything to a club whose owner doesn’t know what direction he wants the club to go in at the moment?
“So the worry is that they’re going to lose key players, they’re not going to have the same money to spend.”

Hazard speaks out
Eden Hazard has told Chelsea to resolve the uncertainty surrounding the club - otherwise he could quit.
The Belgium international, who is wanted by Real Madrid, is keen to find out whether Antonio Conte will be in charge next season, as well as possible additions to the squad.
When asked if his Chelsea future depends on who’s in charge and the Blues’ transfer plans, Hazard said: “Yeah I want to know.
“I want to know, but like I say I am focused on the World Cup.
"If we have something new - manager or players - it is always good to know it because I want players that can [help bring success back to] Chelsea next season.
“But to be fair the transfer market is not here [in full flow] yet. We will see after."

Alonso to Real Madrid?
Chelsea star Marcos Alonso could reportedly be heading to Real Madrid this summer.
Alonso, 27, impressed under Antonio Conte this season, despite Chelsea’s horror Premier League title defence.
And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Real Madrid and Barcelona are battling to land Alonso this summer.
However, they say Real are leading the race to sign the left-back, with Florentino Perez desperate to land defensive reinforcements.
Don Balon add that Chelsea want to sell the Spain defender - and Real are confident of completing a deal in the coming weeks.
Sarri update
Ex-Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is days away from becoming Chelsea’s new manager, Italian journalist Matteo Pedrosi claims.
Pedrosi tweeted: “#Sarri #Chelsea, it's a matter of days: the former Napoli coach is Abramovich's first choice.
“To resolve Conte-situation, but this could (and should) be the decisive week.
“Martusciello in the staff. Players required: #Zielinski #Higuain #Hysaj #Koulibaly. #CFC.”
