Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi go head-to-head for ANOTHER award this month

CRISTIANO RONALDO and Lionel Messi are the leading contenders for this year’s Globe Soccer awards.

Both Ronaldo and Messi have dominated prize ceremonies in recent years having shared the Ballon d’Or between them since 2008.
And they head the list of players in 2017 up for Globe Soccer’s Best Player of the Year award.
They are joined by Paulo Dybala, Gianluigi Buffon, Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Kylian Mbappe.
It will be the eighth edition of the Globe Soccer awards and Ronaldo has been named the player of the year on three occasions while Messi has won it once. 
As well as the players being celebrated for their accomplishments in 2017, the ceremony will also give out accolades to the best coach, best club, best agent and more.
Zinedine Zidane leads the list of contenders to win coach of the year along with Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho, and Massimiliano Allegri,
Real Madrid are up for the award of best club after their La Liga and Champions League double while Monaco, who won Ligue 1 last season, and Manchester United are the other nominees.

And Jorge Mendes, Mino Raiola and Alessandro Lucci are nominated as the best footballers agent of 2017.
Franck Ribery and Radamel Falcao are the two other players who have won the best player of the year.
The ceremony will take place on December 28.
