The two players Antonio Conte wants to sign in January – And they’re both from Premier League

Chelsea are suddently back in the Premier League title race after defeating Manchester United 1-0 last weekend.

They remain nine points behind leaders Manchester City, but are just one behind United, who sit second.

However, Antonio Conte is not the kind of manager who would hand over the title this early.

And by that, we mean he’s ready to spend big in January again.

The Mirror are reporting that the west London club will make move again for Ross Barkley, who reportedly snubbed a transfer to Stamford Bridge on deadline day in the summer.

Everton would rather sell him in January than allowing him to leave for free with his contract expiring next summer.

Other than that, Conte is also keen on signing a new striker, as he remains unconvinced by Michy Batshuayi.

Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke is said to be his number one target.

He was linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer but the clubs failed to reach an agreement.

And if his transfer fails again, the Blues have a plan B to sign Red Star Belgrade’s Richmond Bokaye.
