La Liga president Javier Tebas has made a bid reveal about Leo Messi’s current situation at Barcelona.

He said that Argentine striker has already signed a new deal with Catalan club.

Messi’s future has been the subject of debate, especially over the summer following the departure of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain, but since then Barcelona’s bright start appears to have made him more settled.

“Messi has a contract which has been renewed”, said Tebas, at a media event organised by Europa Press.

“Contracts are official when they are signed and not when it is announced that they have been signed”.

”’Messi has signed with Barcelona, if I have not been lied to, he has signed”.
