How Romelu Lukaku reacted in the dressing room after 1-0 defeat to Chelsea
Romelu Lukaku finally ended his seven game goal drought, scoring a brace in Belgium’s 3-3 draw with Mexico on Friday.
The former Everton man hasn’t scored in seven matches for United, and will try to repeat his good form with his club against Newcastle United next Saturday.
During the Red Devils’ 1-0 defeat to Chelsea. Lukaku failed to make a single touch in the Blues’ area.
But with his two goals against Mexico, Lukaku equalled Paul van Himst and Bernard Voorhoof as Belgium’s all time top scorers.
“At my young age to have achieved something great like this is really good,” he reflected on the achievement.
“But there is a lot of work to be done everyday and I’m just relishing the challenges on a weekly basis.”
Accroding to the Sun, Lukaku reacted with anger in the dressing room at full time at Stamford Bridge, letting out his frustration on his teammates, bemoaning to the lack of services he had.
But it wasn’t all his teammates fault as he was very wasteful in possession, so Sorry Romleu, you only have to blame yourself. /
