Barcelona’s star confirms: ”I could leave in the end of season”

Javier Mascherano has made it clear that he will leave Barcelona at the end of the season.

In an interview with La Nacion, the Argentinian was asked if 2018 is the last year at Barcelona, and he did not say no.

“Yes, it could be”.

“You need to know when things are near the end. There is no need to contaminate relationships”.

Mascherano also added that his decision depends on the club.

After Barcelona, Mascherano says he does not know who will be his new club.

“I do not know. It’s not the same to go back to River Plate”, said the former Liverpool star.
