Why Gerard Deulofeu thinks there was nothing wrong with his goal vs Malaga

Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu thinks that his goal against Malaga was totally right, despite that replays showed the goal had crossed the line before it was served into his path.

Lucas Digne made an excellent cross from the left flank to find the former Everton man, who put it into the net with a brilliant backheel flick.

However, the ball had clearly crossed the byline before Digne crossed it into the box.

Despite the protests of Malaga players, referee Pablo Gonzalez Fuentes allowed the goal to stand.

“I didn’t see a problem,” said the Spaniard for beIN Sports when he was asked about the matter.

“I still have not seen a replay of the incident, but for me it was legal.

“I believe this, hence why I played on.”
