And they supposedly want to spend any transfer fee they receive on Suarez.

However, he could stay at the club with the striker supposedly happy with life at Barcelona.

Liverpool have agreed to sell Philippe Coutinho, reports say.

Catalan newspaper Sport say the Brazil international is nearing a huge £142million move to Catalonia.

It is said £122m will be paid up front, with the rest coming in instalments.

Coutinho’s future continues to be the source of much discussion with the playmaker missing Liverpool’s FA Cup clash with Everton tonight.
