Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo made confession to Lionel Messi after Barcelona game
REAL MADRID star Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly confessed to Lionel Messi that Barcelona were deserving of their El Clasico win.
Barcelona took a giant step towards regaining the La Liga title with a 3-0 hammering of Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Aleix Vidal were all on target for Ernesto Valverde's side.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, was unable to add to his four La Liga goals with the Real Madrid star failing to make an impact.
The 32-year-old talked with Messi on the pitch after the game, cupping his hands to prevent what was said from leaking out.
But Spanish outlet Diario Gol have claimed Ronaldo told his Argentine rival that Barcelona deserved their win in the capital this afternoon.

Initially, it looked as if the former Manchester United star would steal the show.
But the forward waned after the break with Barcelona preventing him from firing Real to Clasico glory.
Diario Gol say Ronaldo told Messi that Barcelona were the better team with Madrid unable to find their stride.
Yet he also supposedly told the 30-year-old that Real will not give up on the title until it is mathematically impossible.
The Catalan giants look set to regain the prize they lost back in May under former manager Luis Enrique.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports pundit Thierry Henry has criticised Ronaldo after he missed a huge chance this afternoon.
“Early on he had a good chance,” Henry said at half time on Sky Sports.
“We don’t often see him missing the ball like he did.
“It’s a very interesting game, we were calling it the El Tactico so far, especially in midfield.
“I thought he was going to control it but how many times have we seen him connecting with the ball first touch and the ball ending up in the back of the net? Obviously it didn’t.”
