Watch: Barcelona denied clear goal after Lionel Messi’s shot vs Valencia crossed the line

Barcelona were denied a clear goal against Valencia on Sunday night, after a shot from Lionel Messi clearly crossed the line on Sunday.

The five time Ballon d’Or winner’s shot was spilled by goalkeeper Neto, which crossed the line obviously.

Neto quickly reacted to get the ball out of the goal, but the officials were having none of it.

Messi began celebrating, but the referee didn’t blow his whistle.

Valencia then started a fast counter attack and nearly scored through Simone Zaza.

Messi was angry as it should with the decision.
