The two Barcelona stars has stop barca from signing Philippe Coutinho

Despite all the desperate attempts of Barcelona to sign Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho during the summer, looks like not everyone at Camp Nou wants him there.

Barca reportedly made three bids for the Brazilian star during the summer, with the latest one being in the region of 118million pounds.

The player himself was desperate to make the move happen, handing a transfer request to the Merseyside club, but Liverpool insisted their star man is not for sale at any price.

In the end, he stayed at Anfield, but the latest reports suggest that the Catalans will come back for him in the January transfer window.

According to Diario Gol, Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic are the two players who don’t want the club to sign Coutinho, and have told the club management that the former Inter Milan man isn’t needed at Camp Nou.

It is also said that the duo has told the club chiefs to reconsider tha planned move for him in January.

The reason why the pair has asked the Blaugrana board to cancel the move, is because they think with Coutinho’s arrival their playing time would be reduced to minimum.
