The three strikers Chelsea have identified as potential Batshuayi replacements
Chelsea suffered the most shockind defeat of the season after they were beaten by bottom-of-the-table Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Palace had collected zero points from seven matches before their clash with Chelsea, incredibly failing to score in all of them.
But it was clear that the Blues are missing Alvaro Morata, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Michy Batshuayi started the match at Selhurst Park on Saturday, but was replaced after only 57 minutes, failing to make an impact.
And the Telegraph are reporting now that the west London club is thinking about life without the Belgian striker, as they have identified three potential replacements.
Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke is one of them. The former Liverpool man is expected to return in November after suffering a knee injury against Manchester City in November.
The Telegraph’s report adds that Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy has been a target of Chelsea in the past, while they are also scouting Red Star Belgrade forward Richmond Bokaye, whom Conte signed during his time at Juventus.
