Red Star Belgrade 0-1 Arsenal: Player ratings and full match highlights

Arsenal manged to secure a hard-fought 1-0 win away againt Red Star Belgrade.

The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger had decided to include some new names in the squad for the clash.

It was Theo Walcott who seriously tested the Serbian side in the 15’th minute but failed to score.

The hosts also had a good chance through their striker Bokaye but the final product missed.

The first half finished as it started, goalless draw.

In the second half Arsenal started to attack constantly, looking to find the goal which would give them the lead.

Reiss Nelson tried to do more in the 50’th minute, but his strike was saved from the hosts goalkeeper.

In the 80’th minute, Red Star were left with 10 players on the pitch after full-back Rodic was shown the red card after heavy challenge on Francis Coquelin.

And five minuted later, the Premier League giants scored the goal which gave them the three points, with Olivier Giroud scoring in acrobatic style.

After this win, Arsenal continue to be the leaders of Group H with 9 points after three matches.

In the next game, Arsenal play again with the Serbian club but this time at the Emirates Stadium.
