Manchester United have frustrated their fans with their recent performances against the top six, and their encounter with Spurs on Saturday lunchtime was hardly a pulsating affair either.
But, this time, they managed to get the result they wanted in spite of entertaining their fans.
The Red Devils secured a 1-0 win over Tottenham at Old Trafford after Anthony Martial found the net in the 81st minute.
It was a bit of a drab affair, but boss Jose Mourinho won't care one bit as the home side stifled a Harry Kane-less Spurs.
While there wasn't too much for fans to get excited about during the game, it was certainly a tasty battle at times.
One moment saw Tottenham's Dele Alli and United's Ashley Young square up on the pitch.
Alli has had plenty of disciplinary problems in the not-so-distant past and he found himself in the centre of the action once again in front of the Sky cameras.
However, Romelu Lukaku had something to say about it this time. Watch the clip below to see Lukaku totally bully Alli away from his teammate:

To be fair, the Belgian striker really is a big, powerful guy. It's hard to imagine many people would fancy themselves against him!
As you can imagine, the United fans absolutely loved what their relatively new £75 million man did for his teammate and they showered him with love on Twitter.
After the game, Mourinho was seen making a 'shush' gesture. While it wasn't clear at the time if Mourinho was targeting the fans that have complained about his style, or if he was taking a shot about Spurs, the Special One moved to explain himself after the game.
"Some people speak too much; calm down, relax a little bit," Mourinho said.
"Don't speak too much; speak, speak, speak. Relax. Relax a little bit, don't be so nervous. Don't be so excited.
No [it was not directed at the opposition bench]. They did their job - super correct - and we have yet to arrive in a match where myself, Mauricio, my staff and his staff have a problem.
"We played against each other so many times since Spain, and we have a really good relation, [whether] we lost, or we win. I don't know if we draw, but we are always correct with each other."
