Coutinho’s move to Barcelona could be agreed next week after this huge development

Barcelona are convinced that they can still sign Liverpool superstar Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.

The Brazilian forward is wanted by the Catalans during the January transfer window and they will do everything possible to land him during the winter transfer window.

According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the player’s agent Kia Joorabchian will work as mediator between the two clubs, who are set to meet next week and discuss the details of the move.

Barca were heavily linked with a move for the former Inter Milan man during the summer transfer window following the deparature of Neymar, who joined Paris Saint-Germain for a world record fee of 222million euros.

Three big offers were rejected by the Reds, with the latest one reportedly being in the region of 118million pounds.

On the other hand, Coutinho also hopes for the move to materialise during the winter, and has excepted to join Jurgen Klopp squad and commit himself to the team while he’s still there.
